台北食記 ▌中正紀念堂站 : 皇龍莊 Taiwan Food Xiao-long-bao《Mae專欄》

外國朋友對台灣的第一印象應該就是小籠包好吃–鼎泰豐。對它細緻薄透的麵皮及其中湯汁慕名而來。我很小的時候跟家人吃過一次鼎泰豐小籠包，印象記得還不錯而且它們提供非常多的點心和菜色。

When it comes to Xiao long bao (steamed dumpling) in Taiwan, most visitors will think of DIN TAI FUNG restaurant in their minds. People love to eat xiao long bao because of its transparent dumpling skin and tasty soup inside. I ate at DIN TAI FUNG many years ago, and their xiao long bao really tasted good. This restaurant also provides a variety of cuisines in their menu.

但我今天不是要講鼎泰豐，大多數介紹台灣美食的文章已不勝枚舉。我想介紹另一家小籠包—黃龍莊。它相對CP值高的多而且不太需要跟大排長龍的旅客排隊。

But I’m not writing this restaurant today as lot of travel guidebooks may already did have it; today I want to go for another restaurant named Huang Long Chuang. Xiao long bao here are not only tasting good, but also not so costly at all. Besides, I don’t like taking long queue and spending hour-long waits at DIN TAI FUNG especially on travel peak seasons.

如果你是第一次來台灣，還是建議你去吃鼎泰豐，可以摘星星還有氣氛很好。但如果你想嘗試台灣人吃的美食也不太在意裝潢擺飾，到是可以一試黃龍莊的小籠包。

PS: If you are first time coming Taiwan, then must try DIN TAI FUNG for their Michelin Star and fine atmosphere. But if you wanna try more authentic food, then Huang Long Chuang may be one of your choices.

有時候我跟爸爸去吃會聽到旁邊的講日文，有些很厲害的日本旅客挖掘到這裡。如有需要他們也有提供日文或英文菜單。

Sometimes you will hear neighboring tables are Japanese, coming here for their Xiao long bao. You can ask for Japanese and English Menu if needed.

小籠包的內餡是通常是豬絞肉和湯汁。我最常吃他們家的蘇式小湯包，要比一般的小籠包來的小些、皮也較薄，適合想吃少點豬肉的女生。他還會附上一碗蛋絲湯。

再來就是他們的蝦仁絲瓜湯包，內餡是蝦仁和絲瓜，口味較輕爽。

The fillings of xiao long bao is minced pork and tasty soup, steaming in bamboo baskets. This delicacy is juicy and meaty. I like their mini-sized xiao long bao, which is more dedicated and their dumplings is thinner compared to normal size. You can also grab their Shrimp flavor ones, which matches with Chinese squash fillings.

他們的茶是免費供應的，不夠跟他們再續壺。是牛蒡茶很解膩又健康。我是養生控所以很愛。

Their tea for free, so don’t hesitate to ask for refills. Its Niubang tea or called Burdock tea (quite common in traditional Chinese medicine). I love herbal tea, and it’s really good after meals.
